Multimodal Presentation

For my presentation, I have chosen to interpret the work of Sally Mann. Mann is known for her wide-format black-and-white photographs of her immediate surroundings, such as her children. She shot several controversial topics, including a collection that included pictures of her naked children. Mann was focused on authenticity, as well as portraying the small details of life and growing up. Though she has done some images in color, her signature black-and-white allows the viewer to focus more on the content of the photograph, not the color.
